Wall Pumps
This category entails hospital grade multi-user breast pumps & personal use breast pumps. The hospital grade multi-user breast pumps are plug in type breast pumps which includes pumps such as Medela Syphony & Ameda Platinum, among others. The personal use breast pumps are more budget friendly & are designed for single user. Though some personal use breast pumps can only be used when plugged in, there are those that contain a rechargeable battery which makes it more portable such as the Spectra S1, Spectra Synergy Gold Portable, and the Unimom Opera among others. Wall pumps include traditional flanges of one to many sizes. These breast pumps in general are recommended for mothers with a low milk supply especially in the first few weeks of a mother's breastfeeding journey.
Portable Pumps
Portable Breast Pumps are personal use pumps. These pumps have been designed to make a breastfeeding mother's journey more convenient. The size of the breast pumps are significantly smaller than wall pumps & includes a rechargeable battery, hence portable/convenient. These breast pumps includes the Baby Buddha, Pumpables Genie, and the Zomee Z2 among others. Most of these breast pumps include traditional flanges & can be great for maintaining and/or increasing milk supply. Though, these breast pumps can also be used with wearable collection cups for more convenience if bought separately.
Wearable Pumps
Wearable breast pumps are personal use pumps. These pumps have been designed to make a mother's breastfeeding journey most convenient as the collection cups can be worn within the bra. Though wearable breast pumps include those with tubing & those without tubing. Some examples of wearable breast pumps with tubing include the Momcozy V1, Momcozy V2, and Medela FreeStyle Hands Free among others. Examples of wearable breast pumps without tubing includes the Willow Go, Momcozy S12 Pro, and the Zomee Fit among others.
